Hey there! Welcome to Emphatic.

Names that excite.

Names that make you take notice.

Does your company need a new name?

That’s our specialty. Let us at it!

Do you have a new product that needs to stand out?

Do you have
a new product that needs to stand out?

We’ve got you covered.

Need a feature name or naming strategy for your vast array of features?

Ever wish you had a naming expert to sit in on meetings and offer ad hoc guidance?

Are you a design or branding agency who needs an occasional naming pro to lead a naming project?

My name is Aaron Hall, and this is my story. After graduating from Harvard, I landed in San Francisco just in time for the dot-com crash in 2001. That’s when I stumbled into my first naming job. And it was love at first sight, er… name.

For twenty-two years I’ve climbed out of bed each morning excited to play with words. I love what I do and I try to help my clients experience that same excitement.

I’ve worked at naming-only firms and I’ve run naming departments at global branding firms.
